Most important tip when it comes to waxing is CONSISTENCY! Here’s a before and after of a returning client. She did have more ingrown hairs this time around so I made sure to take care of those today as well. It is KEY 🔑 to exfoliate 48 hours after a wax to prevent ingrowns. When you skip the exfoliating step, the dead skin has a chance to cover where the hair grows, causing it to continue the hair growth pattern underneath the skin.

•I still forget to take my before pictures which is why the before has powder😅😅 For personal reasons, my client was sensitive in this area so there are a few leftover hairs.
•Don’t forget! It’s best to stay consistent with all waxes, especially Brazilians for multiple reasons. It helps the hair removal process by waxing the hair in the beginning stages of hair growth, anagen, it slows the hair growth. Also, the pain of a Brazilian becomes easier. The second you stop, the next Brazilian will feel like your first wax.

How could I forget to post this?! I graduated recently and as of yesterday, I’m scheduled & ready to take my state board exam to finally become a licensed esthetician. Everything is becoming real. So nervous but so ready. Couldn’t haven’t gotten through the “school year” without my girls and my great instructors. 🫶🏾

I got to do the sfx demo for the new class! New experience for me but I had fun teaching them about special effects. Gotta love a gory look🩸

Firming peptide treatment with ‘s Amandola milk cleanser in the raspberry enzyme. I applied a thick layer of the firming peptide. Great vasoconstriction on her neck and around her nose.

I’m not a huge fan of facials but I had a lot of fun giving my classmate a belly facial. It made me so happy knowing I’m soothing areas that caused her “pain” or discomfort while also being a part of a special moment; feeling the baby. I might have to add this to my future service menu! 🤰🏼
