I’ve been thinking a lot about how much shame we personalize around beauty and aging. And how often what we call “insecurity” is really grief. Grief for time we didn’t feel safe enough to inhabit ourselves fully.
Depersonalizing shame has been part of my healing.

My face was never the problem.
My body was never something to fix.
I have never not been beautiful.

Aging isn’t loss, it’s just time.
And time has revealed the most honest, grounded, gorgeous parts of me. When I return to myself, I realize there’s nothing to be done. Nothing to chase. Nothing to correct. Only something to witness.And something to remember.

Beauty isn’t created through effort.
it emerges when the nervous system feels safe enough to soften.
