Happy Mother’s Day from the Mitchell’s Barber Shop crew!

"Through the Looking Glass" is right around the corner, folks! Our performers have been working extra hard these past few months to make this an amazing show! Adult tickets are $15, and youth tickets (anyone 18 and under) are $10! All tickets are non-refundable once purchased.

IIIIIIIIITTTS Time! Mitchell's Barber Shop will re-open on Monday, April 27. After weeks of being closed, we will begin to offer the same great services as before(along with free advice and bad jokes).

We will be taking some extra precautions so that we are all as safe as we can be. Our guidelines will be posted when you arrive as we continue to be a walk-in business.

Barber Code of Ethics 1.2 states "Members shall at all times consider the health, safety and welfare of the public in their conduct of business". We have always done our best for you and will continue to do so. Allow us the privilege of walking carefully, with you, back into the Barber Shop. Look better, feel better! See you soon.

As we continue to muddle through the COVID crisis, we appreciate your patience and flexibility with our efforts to protect our community. We know that many of you are anxious and (possibly) a bit shaggy and we feel you! We are equally eager to get back in the swing of things and see you again. Just to keep you updated, at this point in time we are waiting to see in what manner the City of Spearfish decides to proceed regarding how local businesses can and should manage through this crisis. We should know by this evening what their decision is and, at that point, we will evaluate how to respond in the best interest of our customers and neighbors. Thank you again and, until we see you again, stay healthy, stay safe and stay awesome.

To all of our valued customers, we hope you're hanging in there and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we do our part to try and "flatten the curve." The team at Mitchell's has always taken great pride in providing you with a safe, clean space and even though we hate to close our doors we understand that, for the time being, it is the best way we can look out for the health of all of you, your families and our community. Please know that this was, and continues to be, a difficult choice to come to terms with. While we considered how we could adjust our operations, there were two points that we couldn't get around:

1. It is impossible to maintain a six-foot distance AND tune up a sweet fade.

2. We see many older and immune-compromised clients every day and we aren't willing to put their health at risk.

We know that some of you are getting shaggy and missing your local barber and we want to assure you that as soon as it is safe to do so, we will reopen and get you back to your picture-perfect self. We so look forward to that day! Until then, please stay healthy, stay safe and stay awesome.
