It’s so fun having people in my chair that give me creative freedom over their hair. Bestie sent some inspo that all seemed to have similar color schemes, so I chose a fun placement that I’ve been wanting to do. I’m loving this fun pop of dimension hidden under the dark brown.

This whole project only took 2 hours and cost $100…wait…it’s April 1st.

For real though, color transformations like this are time intensive and don’t come cheap. I’m always down for a fun project and trying out a new color placement. I’ve always wanted to give this a go, and it was so worth the outcome!

Going across the color wheel can be quite the challenge!

She wanted green, which is the exact opposite of what she had. Thankfully, we were able to use color theory and cancel out the red while still creating a beautiful green😍

This is not always possible, but we did strand tests before her appointment to see if we would be able to achieve her goals. I always offer complimentary consultations so we are on the same page and to make sure I have set realistic expectations of what we can achieve for your specific hair.

Two posts in one week??? Who is she?!

My last post updated you all on what I’ve been up to professionally, but I also wanted to take a moment to share some fun things happening in my personal life!

My husband and I have spent all but a few months of our 8 years together living with other people. We are so fortunate that we were able to purchase our first home two days before Christmas! We are so excited to have a place of our own after so many years.

With having a new space, we felt our home was a little empty with just the two of us and our 11 year old pomchi, Shiloh. One of the salon girlies had puppies, and we knew we had found the newest member of our family. Meet Toffee (Toph) Lin 🫶🏻 She’s the sweetest crazy puppy we could have asked for and was the perfect addition to our family.

It’s been far too long since I’ve posted. Time for an update on what I’ve been up to professionally. Stayed tuned later this week for an update on personal victories!

I’m still doing hair behind the chair three to four days a week. My latest adventure took me back to where I started my journey 10 years ago, for their instructor program.
I’ve been working toward receiving my instructor’s license so I can teach and share my expertise with future stylists. This new endeavor has been so rewarding!
I love helping the students grow their skills, and it’s been fun for me to get back to the basics and further enhance my skills as well. I’m constantly learning new things, and being in a learning environment has been making it even easier to make sure that I’m keeping my skills sharp.
Thank you to all of you that have been so encouraging through this journey! You all know I struggle with committing to social media like I used to, but I swear I will post again sooner than nine months down the road😅
