As many of you know, I’ve been working on some changes to my business. I’m excited to introduce my new name and rebrand, Shúga Studio! ⠀

The last few years, I’ve learned and grew a lot with my business. As a business owner, you have to readjust your direction and make the changes that are necessary for you personally and professionally. And right now I felt was the right time to bring on the changes!⠀

One of my favorite services to offer is sugaring. Seeing how much of a difference it makes for my clients, I decided that my business will strive to become Spokane’s go to for sugaring and grow in that direction. ⠀
Going forward Shúga Studio will focus on specializing in Sugaring, Permanent Makeup, and Lamination Services. ⠀

With that said, I no longer will be offering eyelash extensions as a service for new clients. For the time being if you are a lash client of mine, I will still service you. I know this will be disappointing for some, but the truth is that sometimes you have to choose and specialize in order to offer great value and service. ⠀

Here are the new changes : ⠀
-Starting from now, I will be booking using Vagaro. This system is similar to the last one. ⠀

- Price changes on some services. ⠀
There is also now a discount for all my maintenance appts within the 4-6 week timeframe, yay! This includes all sugaring services, lamination, and facial waxing services. ⠀

-Small Part Services/Add-ons : You will notice that certain services that take less time will be only possible to book as add-ons to another service and cannot be booked by themselves. (Such as a brow tint can be added on to a brow wax, etc.) ⠀
A “Small Part Service” means you can mix/match any 2 small services from the list to book on its own into a 30 minute appointment. Just make a note of the two you'd like in the "booking notes" section when booking so that we can prepare accordingly. ⠀

I often get asked why do powder brows looks so big, bold, and boxy freshly done, is that the way they are supposed to look? ⠀
⠀
Well the procedure can cause the skin to swell, which visually make the brows look thicker by the end of appt. This various person to person and usually goes away within an hour to the end of the day. ⠀
⠀
Second the redness from your skin contributes to the color, again making them visually darker. Brows also get much darker in color due to oxidation that occurs, (think about a cut or pimple when they dry out they also turn dark the next day).⠀

Typically brows will “shrink” about 25% and color will be about 30%-40% softer when healed. This is why I always tell people judge the final result! You can always create perfect looking brows for pictures but it’s what they will look like 4 weeks after the procedure that really matters!
