I chose Lira Clinical and Hale & Hush for my treatment room and your home care because both prioritize skin barrier health.
Lira Clinical combines brightening, corrective skincare and barrier support. Its REGEN line focuses on regeneration, aligning with my approach to well-aging and long-term skin health.
Hale & Hush was developed for sensitive, sensitized and health-challenged skin, with a focus on protecting and restoring the barrier. It also offers mandelic acid, retinal and vitamin C for when your skin is ready.
These lines give me the flexibility to meet your skin where it is and build a plan from there. Home care is just as important as your treatments, and I’ll help you understand what to use, how to use it and why it matters for your skin.
Thoughtful treatment. Purposeful home care. A shared commitment to healthier skin.
Radiant Skin by Joelle has a new home at MODE in Liberty Lake! 🤍
Finding the right space took time, and I’m excited to settle in and grow my practice here. MODE’s mix of wellness, creativity and community feels like a wonderful fit, and I’m looking forward to being part of it.
I’ve put thought into creating a calm, welcoming treatment room where you can feel comfortable, ask questions and receive care tailored to your skin. My focus is on pro-aging, regenerative treatments and supporting your skin’s long-term health.
I’m looking forward to welcoming familiar faces and meeting new friends. To the clients who have followed me through the moves, thank you. Your continued trust and support mean so much to me.
Here’s a little look around. I can’t wait to welcome you in!

I’m excited to share that Radiant Skin by Joelle is moving into a new treatment room inside MODE in Liberty Lake.
I’ll begin moving in this Friday and bringing the room together over the next several days. There are shelves to hang, equipment to organize and plenty of details to put into place—but I’m genuinely looking forward to creating a space that feels comfortable, private and thoughtfully designed for my clients.
MODE’s focus on health, wellness and community makes this feel like a natural fit for my business and the next part of my professional journey.
Appointments in my new room begin September 24. I’ll share more as everything starts taking shape!
Tonight was the night—I caught the bats’ nightly launch on video! 😂
After counting at least 51 bats leaving the bat house last night, I headed outside with my phone ready. One by one, they burst into the air, swooping and darting into the darkness. 🦇
They move quickly, but it’s so much fun to watch them emerge one after another and head out for the night.
After several days of education, conversations, new ideas, and being surrounded by people who are just as passionate about this industry, I came home from the Awaken Esthetics Retreat feeling inspired—and then received this text.
And it was such a good reminder of why I keep investing the time into learning and becoming better at what I do.
Not every win in skincare has to be dramatic. Sometimes it’s helping someone understand their skin a little better, find products that actually work for them…and apparently start washing their face every night.
Those small, consistent changes really do add up.
And the “if my skin could talk, it would say ‘about damn time!’” absolutely killed me. 🤣
This is why I love what I do. ❤️
The second annual Awaken Esthetics Retreat started with a welcome reception and a space full of familiar faces, new connections, and so much talent — and honestly, the drive up through the Columbia River Gorge already had me feeling like this weekend was going to be something special.
Over the next few days, we learned from some of the best educators in the industry, were encouraged to get outside our comfort zones, and were reminded how important connection is in this work.
I’m grateful for the generous sponsors, the motivation, the conversations, and the friendships — both old and new.
Still unpacking — literally and figuratively. More photos and reflections coming soon. ✨✨

Spent some time recently doing something a little different…
and honestly? I loved every second of it.
A soap-making workshop with one of my favorite humans—where we got to choose our own essential oil blends and natural colorants (turmeric for me, spirulina + charcoal for her).
Here’s the thing—this isn’t just about soap.
It’s about being intentional with ingredients.
Understanding what you’re putting on your skin.
And creating something that actually supports skin health instead of working against it.
And yes… my brain immediately went to:
“What if I could do this for my clients someday?”
Custom scents. Thoughtful ingredients.
Something simple, beautiful, and made specifically for you.
Not there yet—but definitely thinking about it 👀
For now, just know…
I’m always looking for ways to bring more personalized, skin-supportive options into the treatment room.

This is exactly what I want every client to experience — treatments that support healthy skin while giving you a chance to relax and recharge.
Thank you for the kind words and for trusting me with your skin.

Vacation skin prep looks a little different for everyone. Before I jumped on a flight to Hawaii, I did a dermaplane session to clear dead skin cells + vellus hair + buildup so my skincare could do its job in a very different environment than Spokane in January.
Hawaii is warm, humid, and sunny — which can be a shock to Pacific Northwest winter skin, especially if you’re dry, sensitive, or barrier-compromised.
My “essentials” for the humid climate:
Hale & Hush
✨ Soothe Essence Serum (hydration + calming without heaviness)
✨ Vital Lipid Lotion (barrier support that doesn’t suffocate the skin)
✨ Broad Spectrum SPF 30 (non-negotiable in tropical sun)
Between salty air, sunscreen reapplication, and living outdoors, having a routine that supports the skin and doesn’t create irritation is the difference between glowing and “help, why am I blotchy?”
Everyone travels differently, but skin does have preferences. It loves consistency, a supported barrier, and ingredients that are doing something besides just smelling good.
Bonus: All three Hale & Hush products are TSA/travel friendly!
Question: If you travel — do you keep your skincare routine the same or adjust it for climate?
