As our staff gets a much needed summer vaca, we want to remind you all that our office will be closed from Monday, June 30th through Friday, July 4th and will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, July 7th.

We have been getting a lot of questions regarding these various ergonomic memory foam pillows popping up all over your social media accounts…

Our PSA of the day: These pillows DO NOT support stomach sleeping. In order to sleep on your stomach, you must turn your head to the side. By turning your head and laying on your stomach, this quite literally twists the spine. This promotes misalignment of the neck and upper thoracic areas. Can you imagine having your head turned to the side for hours? This pillow will wreak havoc on your poor neck/shoulder muscles, and create significant irritation to the discs and nerves by stomach sleeping.

Unfortunately all neck and shoulder sizes are different, so these one size fits all ergonomic pillows may not be the answer you’re looking for. This applies to even our back and side sleepers.

As much as we LOVE to see you all in the office, don’t let it be because of these pillows. We are currently researching different types of pillows made by chiropractors to answer the question you’ve all been waiting for: what type of pillow is best?
