A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
I love what I do. Moreso, I love the results after session. Isnt that what its all about!?! 😊 Most people don't care about my 29 years of experience, they just want results and I am so glad that results based sessions have been the best part about what I do and the most rewardin, in my opinion. But in case you want to know, I am a Nationally Registered Provider for Medical Massage and more specifically Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. I trained directly under the Apprentice of Emil & Estrid Vodder (the founders of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy in 1930s), the apprentice is Guenther Klose. I am also registered nationally as an CMLDT specialist (Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist).

In addition to massage therapy, I have worked combined, many years in the medical field as a Polysomnographer (conducting sleep studies and diagnosing sleep disorders including sleep apnea & treating them) & as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

All of the knowledge that I have accumulated through experience and constant education has given me a good understanding to how the body heals and responds holistically. Therefore I am conscious of more than just the muscular system. I am grateful for this because I absolutely believe that this brings about the best results.

So if the details matter to you, wherever you live, ask your therapist questions. Look for their certications in their place of business. There are alot of great therapists out there and I am glad to be connected with a handful of them. I encourage all my clients to have more than one therapist for various needs since we are all so different, with different education and knowledge and our approaches are different. So if you want to try a different therapist that has a different modality than your current massage therapist, ask me and I will see who I know with that modality and get you connected. LOOKING FOR AN ELEVATED EXPERIENCE?

One thing I bet most of you didnt know I do.... Kinesio Taping! Not just for pregnant belly for to prevent sports injuries or to help an area heal and provide more support. If you have watched the Olympics, chases our you saw some tape on athletes in fun patterns. Yes there's absolute science behind it and it is incredibly effective.

This pregnant woman had never had a massage and her OBGYN told her she needed on so she came to me by referral and had never been KT taped but she said she couldnt even feel the weight of her baby bump and wasnt pulling on her back anymore.
