Kim's Trims Salon

Hello everyone!
It’s not very often that I come to Facebook, but this is a special occasion. In less than 2 weeks, it will be our 16th anniversary in business at Kim’s Trims salon. We are celebrating 16 years of being family owned and operated, delivering the most affordable hair services in the county, and earning some truly amazing and loyal clientele along the way. I came here to say a few words about the journey and to thank everyone that has contributed to our success over the years.
It’s impossible to talk about Kim’s Trims without talking about Kim. I, fondly, remember sitting next to my mom in her bed in 2010 when she came up with the name “Kim’s Trims”. She was an incredible person and businesswoman, but also a phenomenal hair stylist. To this day, six years after her passing, I still hear from clients and friends that my mom gave the best haircut they’ve ever had. She was someone who took immense pride in her work and her business and it shows.
The years since her passing have not been easy. We were a struggling company emerging from the Covid pandemic with extremely limited staff and a newly 21-year-old owner. I can honestly say that our loyal clients are the sole reason this salon survived 2020 and the years following. I am endlessly thankful for those of you that have continued to support my mom’s business through the most challenging times. Thank you for sharing your advice, recommending the salon to friends and family, and keeping my amazing team busy. We would never have been able to do it without you.
To show our appreciation and celebrate our Sweet 16, we’re bringing back the original $6 haircuts for a day! Join us on our golden birthday, Wednesday September 16th, for a $6 haircut and catering from Kristine’s Sweet Treats. Feel free to stop by even if you don’t need a haircut. We would love to see you!
