I love my kids’ clients! I may not be the best braider or the biggest loctician, but I can definitely get the job done—and I’m always growing.

A client came in after removing a sew-in and shared that she had been scratching her scalp throughout the night.

During our consultation, I noticed that her scalp was visibly red and irritated.
Although she came in hoping for a relaxer service, I made the professional decision not to proceed that day.

Relaxers are chemical services, and applying one to an irritated scalp could cause burning, further irritation, or damage. No style is worth risking the health of your scalp or hair.

I explained why it was best to allow her scalp time to calm down, focus on scalp care, and return when it was healthy enough for the service. As a licensed stylist, I will always be honest and choose what is safest for my client—even when that means suggesting a different outcome.

I needed her. I needed to know what real love felt like—pure, genuine, unconditional love.
