I know you feel invisible, like no one notices.
But I want you to know that I see you.

I see you push forward always. I see you choose to do everything you can to give your child the best care at home, school, therapy and the doctors.
What you do matters. It's worth the struggle.

On those days when you wonder if you can make it one more minute, I want you to know I see you.

I want you to know that you are beautiful.
I want you to know it's worth it. I want you to know that you are not alone. I want you to know that love is the most important thing, and that you are the best at it.

And in those days when you see an improvement, those moments when hard work has its reward, and you can taste success, I'll see you then too.
And I'm proud of you.

No matter how you feed your baby, you are an absolutely amazing mom.

The journey of Motherhood is a beautiful and challenging one. Every time you feed your little one, or comfort them with a warm hug, you remind them that you are their rock and their safe haven.

To all of my Kind Behinds customers, family and friends. I have a PSA. Please read in its entirety, like, and share so that others can be aware of this critical issue.

As a Pediatric provider working with the pediatric population daily, this has been an utter nightmare. The horror stories I encounter daily and the depths these parents are having to go through just to feed their children is unfathomable. I have cried with parents and spent countless hours scouring the internet for alternate sources, searching formula stock from here all the way to Texas City locally and out of state, bought formula randomly when I see it just to be able to give to my patients. The horrible diaper rashes, colic, poor feeding, early forced weaning, poor growth, and countless other health consequences these babies are enduring is unethical! Our government should be ashamed, appalled, and something major needs to take place now!!! This can’t continue!!!

WIC (Woman-Infant-Child) is our countries leading purchaser of formula, which adversely affects the underserved population the most. They are disproportionately affected by this formula shortage and hit the hardest due to lack of financial resources and accessibility!

Parents please don’t do this. Don’t dilute your formula to try to stretch it or make it last longer. This creates electrolyte imbalances and places your child at risk for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and seizures. The formula is specifically designed to provide all of your child’s nutrients, water intake, and meet their caloric demands for healthy growth and brain development. If you can’t find any formula, PLEASE reach out to your child’s pediatric provider before you make any sudden changes.

Not every mother can breastfeed. Some mothers are low milk producers, despite their best efforts and working with lactation consultants. Others may have conditions that make breastfeeding with their child contraindicated like with galactosemia, HIV, or mothers who undergo chemotherapy after the birth of their baby. There’s so many more reasons. I truly hate seeing and hearing incensitive, and quite frankly ignorant comments urging mothers to just breastfeed.

An ER doctor says he's treating infants at risk for life-threatening seizures after they consumed diluted baby formula and urges parents not to take a risk with homemade versions Dr. Owais Durrani says his Texas hospital has seen infants with dangerously low sodium levels due to makeshift approaches to the formula shortage.
