Gel-X vs. Acrylic Nails — which one is right for you? 💅✨

Both options can give you beautiful, long-lasting nails, but they are not the same.

Gel-X is a soft gel extension applied directly onto your natural nail using gel adhesive, then cured under a UV/LED lamp. It usually lasts around 3–6 weeks, but it needs to be soaked off and replaced with a new set each time.

Acrylic is created with liquid monomer and polymer powder to build and shape the nail, either over tips or on the natural nail. It is strong, durable, and can also last around 3–6 weeks. The best part? Acrylic can be filled in, so you do not always need a full removal and new set.
