I just realized I never officially announced my closing on my business page. I posted on my personal page, and for those that I haven’t seen in a while, my suite is closed as I am currently attending the Professional Academy of Cosmetology to obtain my instructor’s license. I’ve always had a heart for teaching as I taught dance for several years. So naturally, pairing cosmetology with teaching is something I am meant to do.

I am so very thankful for all of you and everything you’ve added to my life. I have so much gratitude and love for every single person that sat in my chair 💖

Change is a constant in life and I’ve experienced change in the biggest ways over the last year. Adam and I became homeowners, Brogan is involved in year-round hockey. And my parents (who were my lifesavers for watching B during the evenings and weekends I worked) have moved away. (only 35 minutes 😉)

With all of that said, the needs and priorities in my life have changed as well. For the first time in my adult life, I will have a career that allows me to be home and take Brogan to hockey in the evenings and on weekends. He has had to sacrifice and spend a lot of time at work with me. It’s well overdue to dedicate all of the time I can to him and let him be as involved as he wants with his activities.

BUT, this doesn’t mean goodbye! We have students at the school who are taking clients for hair, nails, skin and lashes! Our owner Liz Grantham-Hannold and I oversee the student salon to guide and support the students! if you’d like to come see one of our students for a service, you can call the school at 269-318-6481 to schedule! 💖

Hello lovelies! I hope everyone is having a great start to 2023! I am officially a student again to get my instructors license. This means I am at the salon part time. I will no longer be accepting new clients.

I have a lot of you waiting for a response in my salon and personal messenger, I will be getting back with everyone over the next couple days!

I appreciate your patience and support as I try to balance all of the schedules between the salon, school, Brogan’s school, and hockey. It’s been slightly overwhelming but exciting. You all have been amazing to me and I am forever grateful for every single one of you! 💖

It’s SO true when they say paint 🎨 can make a room feel brand ✨NEW ✨. our living room and hallways ceiling, walls and trim got a refresh and new 💚COLOR💚 last week!

I want to share this opportunity to give back to a family in our community that could really use some love and support through this unimaginable time.

So as many of my clients know, I’m a tea bomb 💣 addict. (if you haven’t tried one, you need to 😉) anywho, a few days ago I went into Ambitions Nutrition for my Gummy Bear tea bomb and this poster board was sitting by the register. Every month, all of the tips collected are donated to a family in need in our community. (One of the reasons I LOVE them so much ❤️) and this month hit me hard. Chris was a young man about to start his journey into adulthood and now is walking with Jesus. His 18th birthday is next Friday… 😭💔 a young man with a whole life ahead of him… and is no longer here with us. Amanda( the owner of ambitions) and I were talking about how tragic this loss is for his family and friends and we were both just in tears 😥

I want to help as much as possible and if any of you are inclined to give, I know his family would appreciate it so much ❤️

They are hosting an event next Friday august 12th(on his 18th bday) to raise money for the family for funeral expenses, time off work, etc. If you would like to donate something to the silent auction, or a cake for the cake walk… any effort is amazing!!! I also thought I’d share my venmo and cash app in case anyone wants to donate money as well. I will give it to Amanda through the rest of the month. 💕
