Well, this is one we are pretty darn proud to share! 🏆
A New You Women’s Clinic has been named a 2026 BBB Springfield Torch Award for Ethics winner.
When I opened this clinic, I wanted women to have a place where they would be heard, respected, educated, and cared for as a whole person—from head to hoo-ha. This recognition means so much because ethics isn’t simply a policy hanging on the wall. It is how we care for women, how we make decisions, and how we do business every day.
Thank you to BBB Springfield for this incredible honor, to our wonderful team for helping carry out that mission, and especially to our patients for trusting us with your care. We would not be here without you. 💜🩵
Testosterone isn’t just a male hormone.
Women make it. Women use it. And we have androgen receptors throughout our bodies.
Men and women have the same essential hormones—different amounts, different patterns, different roles.
So why are women rarely taught about testosterone until someone mentions libido?
It’s time to change that.

Hormone therapy is not one-size-fits-all—and it is not right for everyone. Your symptoms, health history, goals, risks, and preferences all matter. You deserve education about your options so you can make an informed decision about your care.

Vaginal dryness, irritation, painful intimacy, and recurring urinary symptoms may be part of genitourinary syndrome of menopause GSM
These are real physical changes—not something you imagined or should feel embarrassed about.
They are common, medically important, and treatable.

Urgency, frequent urination, nighttime trips, irritation, and leakage may become more noticeable as estrogen changes.
These symptoms are common—but they aren’t “just aging,” and you don’t have to simply live with them.
Proper evaluation helps identify the cause and your treatment options.

Breast tissue responds to estrogen throughout life, so changes with menstrual cycles, pregnancy, and menopause are common.
But never assume every breast change is hormonal.
Know what is normal for you, report new or concerning changes, and follow an individualized screening plan.

Metabolism is much more than burning calories.
Estrogen can influence muscle, fat distribution, blood sugar, and energy.
Weight changes rarely have one cause, and the scale tells only part of the story. Body composition and metabolic health matter too.

Bone is living tissue that is constantly breaking down and rebuilding.
Estrogen helps keep that process balanced.
When estrogen declines during menopause, bone loss may accelerate—but hormones are only one piece.
Movement, protein, calcium, vitamin D, and healthy habits matter too.

Your heart and blood vessels contain estrogen receptors.
Estrogen helps support circulation and normal blood-vessel function, but it is only one piece of your cardiovascular health.
Blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, lifestyle, and family history matter too.

Brain fog, disrupted sleep, mood changes, and hot flashes may seem unrelated—but your brain is one of your body’s most estrogen-responsive organs.
Changing estrogen can affect memory, focus, emotions, sleep, and temperature regulation. You are not losing your mind.
