Fragrant Friday
Some days your body needs a little extra support ~ something calming, grounding, and crafted just for what you’re carrying.

This week’s featured blend is designed for pain relief + anxiety support, perfect as an add‑on during your session or as a personalized 2oz take‑home blend:

• Lavender ~ softens emotional tension and helps the nervous system settle
• Frankincense ~ grounding and steadying, great for deep, slow breathing
• Peppermint ~ cooling relief for tight muscles and tension headaches
• Cedarwood ~ encourages the body to release that “held in the shoulders” stress

You can enjoy this blend in‑session as a gentle aromatherapy enhancement or choose a custom 2oz essential‑oil blend or fresh sugar scrub made right in the office to support your specific needs.

Everything is blended with proper dilution and skin safety in mind ~ so you get the benefits without the worry.

If you’d like to add a personalized blend to your next appointment, just let me know when you book.

Therapeutic Thursday
Carpal tunnel isn’t always coming from the wrist. Sometimes the trouble starts much higher up.

The median nerve (the one that gets irritated in carpal tunnel) travels a long path:
from the neck, through the shoulder, down the upper arm, past the elbow, and finally through the wrist.

If any of those areas are tight, inflamed, or compressed, the nerve can get irritated long before it reaches the carpals.

That’s why massage can help more than people expect:

➡Neck + shoulder work can release the scalene and pec muscles that often pinch the nerve early on.
➡ Upper arm + elbow work can ease tension in the biceps, triceps, and forearm flexors that contribute to nerve compression.
➡ Forearm + wrist work helps reduce inflammation and improve circulation where symptoms show up.

Sometimes the wrist is just the messenger, not the source.

If you’ve been dealing with numbness, tingling, or that “my hand keeps falling asleep” feeling, therapeutic massage can help create space for the nerve to glide again and reduce the tension that’s been building along the whole chain.

Your hands work hard. They deserve support too.

As we move into June and approach a week centered on reflection, rest, and freedom, it’s a good time to check in with your own body too.

If you’ve been feeling tense, a bit scattered, or just need a quiet hour to unwind, I have openings available this week.
A massage can help you settle, soften, and come back home to yourself, long before the holiday rush and emotions of mid‑June arrive.

If your body’s been whispering (or yelling) for a reset, I’d love to hold space for you.

If you’ve been meaning to book a massage for.... oh, about a week (or maybe three?) this is your gentle nudge.

Life gets busy.
Your brain gets scattered.
Lists get long.
And sometimes self‑care is the first thing to fall off the edge.

Massage won’t magically fix procrastination. However, it can help your nervous system settle, your mind clear, and your body stop yelling for attention.

If you’ve been putting it off, consider this your sign to finally give yourself that hour you keep thinking about.

If you’re a pet parent who hasn’t slept well lately… I see you.

Maybe your cat decided 3am was the perfect time for zoomies. 🤦‍♀️
Maybe your dog needed out twice last night. 🤷‍♀️
Maybe you were half‑awake listening for unusual sounds because something felt “off.” 👂🏻

When our sleep gets disrupted, our muscles don’t get the recovery time they need.
Neck stiffness, headaches, low back tightness, and that foggy, heavy feeling, it all adds up.

A massage can help reset your nervous system and give your body the deep exhale it’s been missing.

Your pet may run the household…
but your body deserves care too.

Last week, I had one of those moments every pet parent dreads.
I thought my cat might have ingested ant poison, and my whole body went straight into that cold, shaky panic.

You know the one, the “oh no, what’s going to happen” spiral, the racing thoughts,
the tight chest, the way your stomach drops and suddenly you’re Googling symptoms with trembling hands.

Even after I realized he was okay, my nervous system stayed stuck in that alert mode.
My shoulders were up by my ears.
My sleep was rough.
My mind kept replaying what‑ifs.

And today, it hit me:
Pet owners carry a very specific kind of tension that no one really talks about.

We lift, bend, clean, chase, soothe, medicate, worry, watch, and love these little creatures with our whole hearts.
And when something scares us, even for a moment, our bodies hold onto it.

Massage helps unwind that.

Not just the physical knots from caregiving, but the emotional ones too:
the vigilance,
the worry,
the grief,
the “I have to be okay so they’re okay.”

If you’re a pet parent who’s been dealing with a little extra lately. Whether from a scare, a sleepless night, or just the everyday tenderness of loving a creature who depends on you; Your body deserves a soft place to land.

I’ve been there.
I get it.
And I’m here when you need a reset.

The days after a holiday weekend are when your body finally tells the truth.
All the lifting, the long drives, the extra social energy, the late nights, the “I’ll rest later” moments. Your muscles hold every bit of it, quietly, until you slow down enough to feel it.

That stiffness in your neck.
That heaviness in your low back.
That foggy, out of sync feeling in your whole system.
That's your body asking for a reset.

Massage can help you
*Settle your nervous system back into calm
* Melt the tension you didn’t notice building
* Ease inflammation from overuse
* Reconnect with your breath and your center

If your body is speaking a little louder today, I’ve got space this week to help you soften, unwind, and come back home to yourself.

🌼 Welcome Back from the Holiday Weekend
I hope your Memorial Weekend was full of good moments; whether you were camping, cooking out, traveling, or just taking a much‑needed break.

After all that activity (and maybe a little extra sun or sleep in strange places), your body might be feeling it. A massage next week is a wonderful gift to yourself. A chance to unwind, reset, and let your muscles breathe again.

Your body carried you through the long weekend. Let’s give it a little care in return.

🌙 Massage Monday: What Your Body Did While You Slept

Your body was busy last night ~ even if you weren’t.

While you slept, your muscles worked quietly in the background:
👉Repairing tiny micro‑tensions - from everything you did yesterday
👉Rebalancing your nervous system - after a week of stress
👉Releasing waste products - through your lymphatic system
👉Resetting posture patterns - you’ve been stuck in
👉Trying to soften tight areas - that never fully relaxed during the day

And yet…
you can still wake up stiff, achy, or tight on Monday morning.

Why?

Because your body can only do so much overnight.
If the tension has been building for days (or weeks), sleep alone can’t undo it.

That’s where massage comes in.

Massage supports the work your body is already trying to do ~
helping muscles release fully, improving circulation, calming the nervous system, and giving your body the reset it didn’t quite finish on its own.

If you woke up today feeling like your body is still carrying last week, I’ve got openings and would love to help you start the week feeling lighter and restored.

🌞 **Sunday Softening: Your Body Isn’t Meant to Run on Empty**

Sunday has a way of revealing what we’ve been ignoring all week.

The tightness in your shoulders you pushed through.
The low back ache you told yourself you’d stretch “later.”
The heaviness in your chest that showed up every night before bed.
The fatigue that coffee couldn’t quite cover.

Your body finally has space today, and it uses that space to speak.

**When you slow down, your body catches up**
It shows you what needs care, what needs rest, what needs release.

A few minutes outside, a slow breath, a gentle stretch…
these small moments help your nervous system shift out of survival mode and back into balance.

And when you’re ready for deeper support, massage helps your body let go of the tension it’s been quietly carrying all week.

Your body isn’t asking for perfection.
Just attention.
