Neck, Back, or Shoulder Pain? Massage Openings This Week | Healing Hearts Massage &Wellness 08/28/2026

Just a heads up for next week.

My Mama is going to have surgery on her foot so I will be gone from Sept 3rd through the 10th. A tendon was torn so they will be going in to repair it.

I know its kind of late notice, and I do apologize. This was quite sudden since unfortunately her original plans fell through.

Due to this I will be accepting appointments for Monday, August 31st. And opening up a couple more evening appointments. So anyone who has been looking for a Monday or evening availability now is your chance!

Thank you to those who have already rescheduled, and a big sorry for the inconvenience to those who were looking for an appointment during the time I'll be gone.

Have a great weekend everyone and I wish you all continued good health 🙏✨️

'Tis a sad day in the Healing Hearts enchanted office 🥺

Tuesday, near the end of my first session, my Willow tree lamp went out. It was not much but it was my first attempt at recreating the vision I had of having a tree lamp in my office space.

I've been having issues with her switch for the last year. It likes to stick and either stay on for days/ weeks or off for the same. This time however I think it's done. Pretty sure the switch broke due to the sound when it turned off. 💔 I've played with it quite a bit trying to get it to work again and it's just not having it 🫩

I'll be looking at ideas of how I would like to light my office, so I'll bring a normal lamp from home to light the space.

Perhaps I'll bring Willow home, She'll be my encouragement of the next evolution of Cassandra made tree lighting ✨️

Just getting excited over how German chamomile looks when dropped into a 2oz bottle of grapeseed oil 😍

This particular blend is for stress rashes and when used in session smells so awesome.

Lavender
German chamomile
Frankincense
Cedarwood

Client gets to take this home and use it any time they need, or bring it back for their next session. 💃

Well...I finally did it. After 3 years of working in this office...I locked myself out after exiting the room so the client could get on the table. 🤦‍♀️

Also, this client was hard of hearing and I had asked him to remove the hearing aids before getting onto the table because when my hands get too close to the ear, the hearing aids can start to whistle. 😫

So I had to knock and try to yell loudly for this poor man to be able to hear me and let me in 😭😭

On the bright side though, he loved his massage. Said it was the best he'd ever had. He added on the lemongrass cold towel to add some cooling relaxation to his session. I could instantly tell he liked it by the smile he got after placing it beneath his neck and doing some traction pulls.

So the worst and best things can come in just an hours time 😅 Happy Friday everyone!

Today is Picnic Day!

A little sunshine, a blanket, and a moment to breathe. It’s a sweet way to ease into summer. And whether you’re a massage person or not, your body still deserves a little care while you’re out enjoying the day.

Here are a few tiny rituals to help you feel good in your body...

~Shoulder rolls before you head out~
Loosen the upper back and wake up the muscles that help you carry bags, coolers, or kiddos.

~A few hip circles before settling onto the ground~
Just a few seconds helps your low back stay more comfortable on blankets or low chairs.

~Gentle neck stretch after looking down for a while~
Tilt one ear toward your shoulder, breathe slow, switch sides. Simple and soothing.

~Hydrate more than you think you need~
Warm weather + walking + new sitting positions = your muscles love extra water.

~Sunscreen + a moment of skin nourishment~
A quick layer of lotion or oil after the sun helps your skin stay soft and calm.

And if you are someone who enjoys massage or your body has been whispering for deeper care, I’ve got openings this week. A quiet hour on the table can help everything settle after a day outdoors.

Today we honor a symbol that has carried this country through change, challenge, and growth.
The flag has shifted many times over the years, just like we do.
We evolve, we learn, we heal, and we keep moving forward.

At Healing Hearts, I’m reminded daily that strength doesn’t always look bold or loud.
Sometimes it looks like quiet resilience.
like choosing rest.
like taking care of the body that carries you through every season.

Wishing you a peaceful Flag Day ~ a moment to breathe, reflect, and appreciate the small freedoms we create for ourselves every day.

Healing Hearts Massage ~ where presence meets purpose.
In this quiet room, sunlight filters through soft curtains, and the world slows down just enough for your body to catch up.
Every session begins with listening to your muscles, your breath, your story.
Whether you’re seeking relief from deep tension or simply a moment to rest, this space is designed for you to exhale and reconnect.

Therapeutic touch isn’t just about easing pain; it’s about helping your body remember what calm feels like.
Here, care is intentional. Pressure is purposeful. And healing is personal.

Step into stillness.
Step into Healing Hearts.

Fragrant Friday
Some days your body needs a little extra support ~ something calming, grounding, and crafted just for what you’re carrying.

This week’s featured blend is designed for pain relief + anxiety support, perfect as an add‑on during your session or as a personalized 2oz take‑home blend:

• Lavender ~ softens emotional tension and helps the nervous system settle
• Frankincense ~ grounding and steadying, great for deep, slow breathing
• Peppermint ~ cooling relief for tight muscles and tension headaches
• Cedarwood ~ encourages the body to release that “held in the shoulders” stress

You can enjoy this blend in‑session as a gentle aromatherapy enhancement or choose a custom 2oz essential‑oil blend or fresh sugar scrub made right in the office to support your specific needs.

Everything is blended with proper dilution and skin safety in mind ~ so you get the benefits without the worry.

If you’d like to add a personalized blend to your next appointment, just let me know when you book.

Therapeutic Thursday
Carpal tunnel isn’t always coming from the wrist. Sometimes the trouble starts much higher up.

The median nerve (the one that gets irritated in carpal tunnel) travels a long path:
from the neck, through the shoulder, down the upper arm, past the elbow, and finally through the wrist.

If any of those areas are tight, inflamed, or compressed, the nerve can get irritated long before it reaches the carpals.

That’s why massage can help more than people expect:

➡Neck + shoulder work can release the scalene and pec muscles that often pinch the nerve early on.
➡ Upper arm + elbow work can ease tension in the biceps, triceps, and forearm flexors that contribute to nerve compression.
➡ Forearm + wrist work helps reduce inflammation and improve circulation where symptoms show up.

Sometimes the wrist is just the messenger, not the source.

If you’ve been dealing with numbness, tingling, or that “my hand keeps falling asleep” feeling, therapeutic massage can help create space for the nerve to glide again and reduce the tension that’s been building along the whole chain.

Your hands work hard. They deserve support too.

As we move into June and approach a week centered on reflection, rest, and freedom, it’s a good time to check in with your own body too.

If you’ve been feeling tense, a bit scattered, or just need a quiet hour to unwind, I have openings available this week.
A massage can help you settle, soften, and come back home to yourself, long before the holiday rush and emotions of mid‑June arrive.

If your body’s been whispering (or yelling) for a reset, I’d love to hold space for you.
