Eighth Element

So much of my job is trying to unwind time well spent that shows up on your face.
While I say that in a very direct matter-of-fact-tone, its true.
We live, we laugh, we cry, we get angry or upset, anxious, we have sleepless nights, and long days and it all shows on our beautiful faces.
What I never want to do is take the qualities that make you, you away.
Aging is such a blessing and a gift.

💜 My sweet angel of a grandmother went to heaven last week. 🪽
She was the matriarch to our family and was such a spit fire.
I have so many memories with her, but my favorite was her story telling.
She could recall a story from her childhood like it was yesterday.
She loved our Savior, and she loved us grandkids, and adored her great grandchildren.
She would’ve been 97 in October.
I hope to spend my time here under the sun, loving generously as she did, crying over silly things (y’all know I’ve got that one dialed), enjoying food, a puzzle, the smell of lilacs and the hunt for whatever is on my mind. 
I pray to be resilient like she was, and of a strong heart and faith.

🌿She is the reason my studio always has ferns year round.

Love you gramma, rest easy, until we meet again.
Bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. 😘

📌 I will be out of the studio Sept 3rd-9th to be with my family and to celebrate the wonderful life she lived.

Well… plot twist. 😂
Apparently, working in an amazing space, with an incredible clientele, a relaxed environment, and a boss who genuinely wanted to see you succeed just wasn’t quite the right fit.
So, Graciee has decided to move on.
Beyond grateful for the clients who welcomed her, supported her, and trusted her during her time at Eighth Element. 🤍
As for Eighth Element? We’re still here. Still growing. Still serving our people. Still booking. ✨
Sometimes God closes a door… and sometimes He removes someone from the building. 😂
Either way, we keep moving forward.
