OTC Student Veteran's Organization

The Veterans Organization of Ozarks Technical Community College has been making a impression and slowly building its alumni throughout the past few years. The organization participates in events around the Springfield community such as a local veterans back to school picnic where they gave information to fellow student veterans to help enhance their college experience and one time the organization had helped with a community service project raking a elderly persons yard. As you can see this organization has been making its mark on this community. Located in room 101 of the Norman K Meyers building you can find most of the members who make up this organization. In this room everyone comes together to utilize each others skills to help people excel in different areas of school with peer tutoring. The lounge also offers information any veterans on campus may have and can direct people to who they need to talk to. The room offers free coffee, discount snack and food items, and educational materials such as textbooks, binders, and various other things a student will need. We also offer social support in the form of friends and often plan off campus activities such as Taco Tuesdays to keep everyone connected. We would love to see this organization grow!
