This weekend I had the opportunity to
speak on stage as Mistress of Ceremonies in front of over SIX HUNDRED(yep 600)women at Wooden It Be Lovely 's Little Black Dress Gala!!
Meanwhile, my husband was doing the same thing in his corner of the world... cooking and showing up for another 600 ppl (he actually served more than that)@ Elevated Appetites Bryant Walls

❤️We both had huge events happening that we had to show up for, but behind the scenes there were health issues, sick kiddos and other things that weighed on our shoulders that no one knew about and we STILL DELIVERED!👏🏾

He showed up at The Little Black Dress Gala when he could pop in,( set up the in demand 360 photo both😉) and calm me down and I turned around and showed up to his big weekend for 217 Foodies at The Railyard - Springfield, IL ..... And THEN we showed up to the Greater All Nations Tabernacle Business Showcase today to end our weekend !👊🏾We share this because social media makes things look pretty but BAAABBYYY, showing up for our responsibilities and our community often feels IMPOSSIBLE, so PLEASE support small and LOCAL in a big way, because even in their own personal turmoil, these small family owned local businesses make sure to show up for you!

So today we CELEBRATE BIG and we clap for each other's businesses...LOUDLY!!! Because tomorrow we are quietly back at it one unposted, unannounced, "keep it to ourselves" struggle at a time!
