The 42nd Annual Springhill Lumberjack Festival is coming FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9th, AND SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10th, and y’all… we have packed this entire weekend FULL! 🤩

FRIDAY NIGHT STREET DANCE

🎶 Come kick off Lumberjack Weekend with a Street Dance featuring DELTA!

We’ll kick off the morning the best way we know how — gathering with area ministers at the Clock Tower for “See You at the Clock Tower” and starting our Lumberjack Festival WITH A PRAYER. 🙏❤️

Then get ready, because there is something happening ALL DAY LONG!

🪵 AWARD-WINNING CHAINSAW CARVER CHAD KILPATRICK OF CKCARVINGS — Enjoy FOUR shows throughout the day at the Clock Tower Circle! Come watch him turn an ordinary log into an incredible work of art right before your eyes!

🐂 MECHANICAL BUCKING BULL — Think you can hang on? 😂 It’s only $5 a ride, so grab your bravest friend and come prove it!

🪓 LUMBERJACK EXHIBITS BY THE LIBRARY — We’re celebrating the timber heritage that started this whole thing!

🖼️ ART SHOW BY THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL — Come admire the creativity of our local students on display on the stage inside the Civic Center!

🧑‍🍳 BISCUITS AND GRAVY CONTEST — Come show off your Granny’s—or Grandpaw’s—recipe! We know Springhill has some serious breakfast talent, so bring your best biscuits and gravy!

🚜 TRACTOR SHOW — Bring the family out to check out some beautiful tractors, and keep an eye out for them rolling through the parade!

🚛 THE LUMBERJACK PARADE — Log trucks, tractors, cool cars, floats and more! If it rolls and it’s fun, we want to see it! The parade rolls down Main Street at 11:00 AM!

🚘 CAR SHOW — Plenty of beautiful rides for car lovers to check out!

🎯 BAGGO TOURNAMENT — Sponsored by the Krewe of Nemesis! Bags fly at 11:30 AM!

👾 ACTUAL ARCADE — Sponsored by Fighter Town Arcade and located inside the Civic Center!

🚘 CAR SMASH — Come take a swing and support the Fire Department!

Pine Plaza Barbershop will be closed this Saturday as we take time to attend my husband’s stepmother’s funeral and be with our family.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this difficult time.

I will be closed Saturday September 26th. My husbands step mother passed away. We will be laying her to rest on Saturday. Keep my father in law and the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Yesterday was World Barber Day, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating what being a barber is really about.

Pine Plaza Barbershop has been a part of Springhill since 1971. Through the years, different barbers have sat behind these chairs, countless conversations have been shared, and generations of customers have walked through our doors.

I’m incredibly proud to be carrying on that tradition and keeping a little piece of Springhill history alive. ❤️

Thank you to every customer who has trusted us with your haircut, beard trim, shave, or simply stopped in for a good conversation. You are what makes this place special.
