This week has felt like Autumn for us! What about you?

Lets get back into the swing of things knowing that Samhain is six months away! The end of April marks Beltane for us, the celebration of Summer! We dance, we drink, and we light things on fire, its a beautiful thing.

PEOPLE:In Loving Memory of Demartravion “Trey” Reed & Cory Zukatis
This week, we lost two lives far too soon.
Trey, a 21-year-old student with promise and potential, and Cory, a man who carried struggles yet remained a soul of worth and dignity.
As investigations continue, what remains certain is that their lives mattered. We honor them not by how they left this world, but by the light they brought while here.
May their memory call us to compassion, justice, and deeper care for one another. 🕊

I've applied every year for 5 years into the Spirituality exhibit at my local art museum and every year this witch gets rejected and based solely on the titles that do get accepted, my pieces are not Christian enough. I have much to say on that matter but perhaps another post for that topic. So every year I try to disrupt the norm, and try to share the witchy world with the Christian community. Every day for a year I lit a candle for my spells, rituals, and prayers. I've entitled the peice "Remnants of prayer " and I think it's striking.
My artist statement:
Candles flicker like whispered pleas,
Soft tongues of flame in reverent breeze.
Each wick a soul, each light a sigh,
A silent hope sent to the sky.

Wax melts like sorrow, slow and deep,
In sacred hush where spirits weep.
Their glow, a vigil held in grace,
A warmth that time cannot erase.

They burn for love, for grief, for peace,
For dreams we long to see released.
A thousand prayers, too soft to speak,
In candlelight, the strong, the meek.

In quiet flames, our hearts appear—
Small fires of faith that the Gods may hear.

Drying the corn, stacking the wood for the bonfire , and choosing the handle for our new bessom
