Let Me Work For You

One thing I want my clients to understand is this:

Even though there are great skincare products available everywhere now — your esthetician still plays a huge role in your skin journey.

What you’re really getting when you come see me isn’t just products.

You’re getting professional skin analysis and guidance.

Most people try to diagnose their own skin based on TikTok, influencers, or what they read online. But skin conditions can look very similar — and treating the wrong thing can actually make your skin worse.

As an esthetician, I’m trained to recognize and treat things like:

• hyperpigmentation
• acne
• barrier damage
• rosacea
• aging concerns

The biggest difference isn’t always the products themselves.

It’s the professional guidance behind them.

When you work with an esthetician, you have someone helping you:

• identify what’s really happening with your skin
• choose the right active ingredients
• avoid over-exfoliating or damaging your barrier
• build a routine that’s simple and sustainable
• adjust your routine as your skin changes over time

My goal has never been to gatekeep skincare.

I’m here to guide you, simplify things, and help your skin actually improve.

So if you’re ever feeling overwhelmed with skincare…

Let me work for you.

Unpopular Opinion From Your Esthetician:

Good skincare is good skincare — regardless of where it’s sold.

Some products at Sephora are great.
Some professional products are mediocre.
Some inexpensive products on Amazon are surprisingly good.

What actually matters most in skincare is:

• formulation
• ingredient percentages
• pH balance
• ingredient stability
• consistency in use

My job is NOT to gatekeep products from you.

My job is to guide you.

There are effective products at many different price points. What matters most isn’t chasing trends or buying whatever is viral online — it’s finding a routine that works for your skin and sticking with it.

Professional skincare lines like GlyMed Plus and SkinScript give me formulas that I trust and know how to pair with treatments in the treatment room. That allows me to customize routines based on your skin goals and what we’re working on together.

BUT great skin doesn’t come from one miracle product.

It comes from consistency and the right routine.

One quick note:
If you do buy skincare from Amazon, be careful. Counterfeit products do exist.

Always look for:
• official brand storefronts
• verified sellers
• sealed packaging when it arrives

Your skin deserves thoughtful choices — not just whatever is trending that week.

My skin has been so dry lately and I know I’m not the only one feeling it. Between the cold weather and the dry heat inside, this time of year can be really rough on your skin.

I’ve been making a few simple changes in my routine lately and they’ve honestly made such a difference, so I wanted to share in case your skin is struggling too.

Here are a few things I always come back to when my skin is feeling extra dry:

• Switching to a cream cleanser

This is a big one. Foaming or gel cleansers can be great, but in the winter they can leave your skin feeling even tighter. A cream cleanser feels so much more comforting and doesn’t strip your skin.

• Adding a cream mask once or twice a week

I think of this like a reset button for dry skin. If my skin is looking dull or flaky, this helps bring it back.

• Using an in-shower body oil

I started doing this recently and I’m obsessed. Putting oil on while your skin is still damp helps lock in moisture so much better than putting lotion on dry skin.

• Following with a body butter

This is the time of year to go heavier. Light lotions just don’t cut it for me in the winter.

• Using a richer moisturizer at night

Winter is not the time for lightweight gel moisturizers (for most people). Your skin needs more support right now.

One thing I will always believe in is that simple and consistent beats complicated every time. You don’t need a 10-step routine — just a few good products used consistently.

If your skin has been extra dry lately, you’re definitely not alone. Spring will be here soon, I promise 🤍
