A little gardening tip I use to grow cauliflower.
Harlequin bugs or cabbage moths do not fair well to a light dusting of all natural clay. Kaolin clay or French Clay are your pest defense without harming your beneficial pollinators.
Protect the crowns on the plant and you too will have wonderful success.
