Happy New Year everyone! As the holidays wind down and we are (hopefully) past our crazy weather, I'm making my final announcement. This is the last month that Family Healing Massage Therapy will be open. Thank you all for the business and loyalty you gave me. We will miss every single one of you.

Hey family. So we have thought long and hard about making this announcement. We here at Family Healing have decided that it is time for us to start winding down our business in preparation for moving. We will be closing our doors for good in March of next year. For now we are open as usual! Have a wonderful day.

Hello Stafford and Fredericksburg! Yall have been wonderful in giving me all your business! I have been so blessed that I have now reached maximum capacity and can not take on any more clients! Stay tuned in the future. I will announce on here when I can start taking clients again!

Closing out 2020 on a good note! My family and I went to see the National Christmas tree and walk a bit around DC! We've had some amazing blessings and events for us this year! Not the least of which was the birth of our newest daughter! We are hoping and praying next year is better and filled with the healing energy we all need. I can't wait to serve you and help you in the coming year.

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I checked in! I am back to work and I am taking clients.

My hours are still limited. I can take appointments on Saturday or any week day evening starting at 4.

Hello! I'm here to announce that we are officially back! I will be accepting appointments with limited hours. All appointments will be scheduled after 4 pm or on weekends. We will also have several new protocols until the Covid pandemic has passed. I will make a separate post about this later. For now I'm so excited and ready to get back to work!

COVID Update:

So we are still waiting to see how this next month goes. Right now August looks like the earliest. This virus has seriously hindered any returning to work and I'm getting frustrated but we will get through this. I cant wait to be back at work and helping all of yall.

Maternity leave and Covid Update!

Hello wonderful clients! As this crazy time passes and my life as a new mom of two is getting into a nice groove, I've started thinking about when and how I will be coming back to work. I know many of yall have been patiently waiting!
I've been looking at this several ways. First, how can I, as a mobile therapist, comply with the guidelines that have been set till we are through this crisis? And Second will my clients still trust a mobile therapist into their homes? Finally, can I, as a very small business, afford to comply with the current standards?

So, the first question has been answered by the American Massage Therapy Association. And the simple answer is that it would be extremely difficult for me to comply due to the nature of my business. And to answer the final question it would be a a bit of an investment that I can not afford, for me to attempt to reopen under the current circumstances.

HOWEVER, I've recieved an over whelming response to the second question with a yes! So I will definitely be trying to work something out.

Therefore, I'm still going to be attempting to reopen on the 1st of July as was my original plan with Maternity leave. The current approach is a wait and see one. IF we are out if the Covid phases of reopening then I will be opening with business as normal. If not, then I will have to push my reopen date to later in the year.

I will try to keep you all updated as these phases progress.

Hey Family! I just wanted to give everyone an update of how we're doing here. We are officially in month 9 of pregnancy. Little girl could come any day now. We are also taking all the proper precautions of avoiding public as much as possible and my hubby is home all but one day a week from work and no one is there while he is. Just praying for a healthy household and for all of my clients to stay safe and healthy. I miss all of yall. I cant wait to get back to work!
