I’m Fighting for Woof Houze — and I need you to know why.

This is one of the hardest message I’ve ever had to write.

October of last year, I opened a new sanctuary for dog’s a place I believed would change everything. I invested over a quarter of a million dollars, my savings, my heart, my time, my health. It was the most intentional, beautiful, healing space I had ever built.

And in four months, it collapsed.

Not because of bad business.
Not because we didn’t have clients.
But because the building was making dogs and humans sick… and someone knowingly allowed it.

We lost 60% of our business almost overnight.
My reputation took a hit for something I didn’t cause.
I’ve been in a legal battle ever since.
I had to move my entire program into a building that was never designed to hold it.
And I’ve been trying to keep the doors open.

Some of you helped us move when that happened and I will never forget it.

But what most people don’t know is this:

I haven’t recovered. Woof Houze hasn’t recovered.
Financially, emotionally, physically we’ve been fighting for our life all year.

I could’ve packed dogs in here like everyone else just to make money.
I could’ve run daycare factories and cranked out obedience robots.
But I chose QUALITY over quantity.
I chose nervous dogs, misunderstood dogs, reactive dogs the ones who NEED us.

And I’m still choosing them.

Even when it’s breaking me.

This business has saved hundreds of dogs’ lives.
We’ve given away $40–50K in coaching scholarships every year.
We’ve helped rescues, families in crisis, first-time guardians, dogs no one else would take.

And when things got hard, I didn’t walk away.

I even put my own dreams on hold writing my books, expanding my work just to fight for Woof Houze.

Because this isn’t just a business.

This is my life’s work.
This is my purpose.
This is a lifeline for dogs and guardians who have nowhere else to go.

But I’m going to be brutally honest:

We are at the edge.
Financially exhausted.
Emotionally drained.
Mentally depleted.

And yet I still believe we can rise.

Not with pity.
Not with handouts.
But with community.
