Hello, everyone! Over the past few months, I’ve been deeply touched by the kind words from many of my client at Massage Envy sharing how they drive 40 minutes or more just to come and see me. It’s incredibly humbling to know that my work has made such a difference for so many of you, and I want to thank you all for your continued trust and support.

With that said, I’m excited to announce that I’m expanding my availability to better serve you! In addition to working at the Massage Envy - Stafford, I’ll now also be working at the Massage Envy - Fredericksburg. This means you’ll have more options when it comes to scheduling appointments, and I’ll be able to connect with even more of you, both new and familiar faces, in the Fredericksburg area.

Whether you're local to Fredericksburg or willing to make the drive to either location, I’m truly grateful for the loyalty and encouragement I've received. Often it is said that” Estheticians are scared of the sun”. That is completely incorrect! Estheticians are not scared of the sun, we are scared of the negatives that come from the sun. The negatives that can come from the sun are Premature aging, Skin cancer, sunburns, and Irregular Pigmentation (sun damage). Although these negative things come from the sun, we still much enjoy the sun and being outdoors, we just take the time to put on UV protection sunscreen every hour, wear hats, and/or find shade.

Since starting my role as an instructor, I get asked what are some perks of an Esthetics Instructor. There are so many to list but one of my favorite perks is being able to witness the talent through these students receiving treatments. Today, I was lucky enough to receive a treatment from one of our basic Esthetician students. They conducted a makeup treatment that blew me away. I am so proud of these students and to be an Esthetics Instructor!

Dermaplaining is a manual exfoliation treatment. It is known to help remove peach fuzz and dead skin cells. Dermaplaining is a treatment that is great for all skin types and most skin concerns. It helps all Acne besides types 3 and 4. The most common question that is asked is, once the peach fuzz is removed, will I have to worry about it coming back? Possibly darker or fuller? The best answer is NO because, unlike shaving, it does not cause the hair to come back fuller or darker. Besides all these amazing things, it will help your makeup lay perfectly on the skin. This will give it that natural look instead. You can do this treatment every two weeks up to two times a month.

I am very excited to announce with everyone that I am beginning a new chapter in my career! I am embarking on a journey to become the best Esthetics Instructor I can be. I will be responsible for showing them the ins and outs of this career. I will educate them on the safety and cleanliness aspects of this career for all their future clients' safety. I will help prepare them for the state board in hopes they can pass and one day become an Esthetician. My career has been such a reward and blessing that I want to share it with others as I help them succeed and achieve their goal.
