Hair with Flair

Just finished a pop art commission. Since my art page has been permanently lost to me, I’ll just post my paintings here. Hair and paintings feel the same to me anyway. Just different canvases and tools.

I said I was done. My first daughter told me to finish the skin color bc it doesn’t look like i finished it. 😂 I like it stylized like this, even tho i originally planned to add skin color and was just building my layers. So I took a photo, I’m sharing, and I will do it how she likes cuz whatever!

Freestyle cornrows

Took the buns down last night. Now she’s bouncing them curls all around

Had to wear button ups for two days cuz i couldn’t pull a shirt over my head with those big ass curlers. They would’ve dried in hours in the summer 😆 why i had to do this during a freezing week, idk, but hair is done for all the holiday pics and i love it!

Slept in my curlers. Worth all the pain! The curls and the gurls both!

Feeling real MUVA for picking Osheaga up from the bus with my curlers in 😝 She says I look so pretty and cute. Glad she recognized, cuz I’m feeling pretty and cute NGL

Pipe cleaner curls. She likes the look of them with the pipe cleaners and wants to keep them in a while. She said she wanted her buns to be bouncy bc her usual buns stay still 😆 I don’t think she’ll ever understand the benefit of literally living in a salon and getting her every whim met 😆 it’s just normal to my babies
