Andrew & Rob | 7/2/2026 | Skylands Manor
Honored to serve these gentlemen and their best men on one of the most momentous occasions of their lives — on one of the hottest days I can recall (the daytime high reached 103 degrees!).
Andrew & Rob pampered their best men with full-service haircuts, traditional straight razor shaves, facials, and massages, plus a men’s dapper bar for photo-ready makeup by and styling accompanied by Bridgeton Pop.
One of the most unique guest experiences was the dinner entertainment: a Murder Mystery by The Murder Mystery Company. There was also a Chinese tea ceremony with their families, a processional across the pond, and tables named after q***r icons. This wedding was uniquely Rob & Andrew.
Thank you for the opportunity, gents, and wishing you all the best in this next chapter of your lives together. 🫶💈🌈

Introducing Katie & Matt | 5.15.2026 | Pettineo, Italy
Matt Bednarsky is one of my oldest and closest friends. An artist. An entrepreneur. A musician. A husband. He's incredibly thoughtful, sincere, and full of humor and heart in everything he does. And Katie who is so pure, grounded, creative, a beautiful presence and makes my friend happy.
Matt and I went to elementary school together. We sang in choir together. We performed in theater shows throughout high school. We were neighbors in New York City during college. We found each other again in Italy while we were both studying abroad. For three years, he was my Portuguese teacher—and in the process, he brought me closer to my own Brasilian family and community. For as long as I've known him, Matt has been a constant reminder of what it means to be a loyal, genuine friend. Last year, he even came to visit us in Santos, Brazil.
Fan fact. Matt came up with the name "Doorbell Barbers"!
So, to be there for Matt on his wedding day in Italy—to help prepare him for one of the biggest days of his life—was an incredible honor and an unforgettable experience.
We set up beneath an olive tree in the Sicilian sun on the grounds of Casa Migliaca—a magical, enchanted farmhouse that felt as though it had been waiting for this exact day. With sage smoke drifting through the air, family and lifelong friends gathered close, and the breathtaking Sicilian landscape surrounding us, I gave Matt his haircut, beard clean-up, and styling before the ceremony, along with a few of the guys in the wedding party. They were small moments of calm before one of the biggest moments of the day.
One of the greatest gifts was being able to bring my dad with me. Thank you, Katie and Matt, for that. It meant more than you know to experience this incredible weekend with him by my side.
Watching one of my oldest friends marry the love of his life on the other side of the world, surrounded by the people who love them most—that's a privilege I'll never forget.
So incredibly happy for you both.
Congratulations, Matt & Katie.
Married. Finally. ❤️

Congratulations to Hanna & Nick on an unforgettable wedding weekend at the beautiful Mayflower Inn & Spa.
Nick treated his groomsmen, fathers, and closest friends to the full Doorbell Barbers experience—haircuts, styling, beard trims, straight-razor shaves, facials, massages, premium ci**rs, and Kentucky bourbon. It was an honor to help everyone look and feel their best before the big race down the aisle.
From the moment we arrived, Nick's passion for horse racing was impossible to miss. Every conversation seemed to circle back to Saratoga, the track, and the thrill of the sport which was sparked from his grandfather, Anthony who was with us in spirit.
As they begin this next chapter together, every great horseman knows the real prize isn't just crossing the finish line—it's having the right partner beside you for every mile. Here's to a lifetime of running the race together, celebrating every victory, weathering every challenge, and always finding your way back to the winner's circle.
Best of luck with passing the bar this fall and your move to Saratoga and thank you for the opportunity!

Friends, feel free to use our discount code to level up your wet shave game.
Blackbird is designed, machined, and finished in the United States. With looks inspired by the iconic SR-71 "Blackbird" reconnaissance aircraft, the Blackbird razor is as visually striking as it is functional.
This is a very sleek and eye-catching razor — it feels like a piece of fine jewelry. I told my wife that one day my son will own this razor.
Worth the investment!

With Noah Kahan's album "The Great Divide" at #1 in the United States right now, I keep coming back to a gig from two years ago.
The New York Times hired me to cut and style his hair at his dad's house in Strafford, Vermont. When I got the call I didn't actually know who he was, but I listened to his album Stick Season on the drive up.
I arrived early and was greeted by Josh — Noah's dad — who made me coffee, introduced me to their dogs, and walked me around the house and the loft where Noah stayed during COVID and wrote the album. If you know Stick Season, he really did have empty orange juice bottles lined up on the wall.
I offered Josh a haircut while we waited, since Noah was grabbing a sandwich in town. Josh had suffered a traumatic brain injury from a bicycle accident years prior, rarely left the property, and had been cutting his own hair for a long time — a self-described hermit. He wasn't expecting a barber at his house that day, let alone a haircut in his own living room.
Noah arrived and Josh stayed with us in the room while Noah shared the details of his recent engagement — he'd proposed in Mexico at a festival the month prior. We figured out that Noah and I had lived three blocks from each other in Watertown, MA, where his girlfriend at the time was teaching and I was running City Wine Tours in Boston. We talked about Nashville and New York and of course Vermont. He'd been a struggling singer-songwriter for a decade before his first break. All of this new fame was palpable.
I could feel something in that room. A father who raised his son in a small Vermont town — he'd sweetly call him "Noahy" — who watched him leave and watched the whole world claim him. And a son still trying to be both things at once.
That kind of love doesn't always sound like pride. Sometimes it sounds like "two hundred years we laid bricks in the dirt" and "you ain't a goddamn hero 'cause you cry on live TV."
A lot of people think "Haircut" is about a fellow musician. I'm not so sure. I was in that room. I just didn't know I was watching a song get written.
Take a listen!

Honored to have welcomed the Foo Fighters and Frankie and the Witch Fingers to Total Mortgage Arena for a SOLD-OUT, nearly three-hour set from one of the world’s greatest rock bands.
We had the opportunity to spend two days on-site, pampering arena staff, local crews, tour management, the band, and their families—delivering a great experience here in Connecticut.
Truly inspiring to work alongside so many talented and committed team members who bring these performances to life.
Special thanks to Marc, Cameron, and Joe for the trust in us.

Eleanor + Alex // Boston Public Library
Inspired by the works of Alphonse Mucha, E.A. Abbey, and the Belle Époque, Whim Events created a dramatic and elegant wedding at the historic Boston Public Library.
For Eleanor, a librarian, and Alex, an artist, they drew from the Belle Époque to create a night that felt less like an event and more like a story guests were invited to step inside.
Alex treated his best men to traditional straight-razor shaves, haircuts, styling, massages, and facials, paired with bourbon and ci**rs.
Congratulations to you both and thank you for the opportunity! Truly one of the most well executed weddings I have had the honor of serving.
