Our grand opening event was postponed due to the weather, so the new event is scheduled to take place on January 6th with pop-up vendors that will have so many neat things to shop through!! The winner for this giveaway will be announced at the grand opening, along with the winner of the raffle 🥳

as I’m writing this I’m literally pinching myself to make sure that I’m still living in real life.. it still feels like I’m dreaming..

many years ago, standing in my own grandmother’s salon between the ages of 7-13, I remember thinking to myself many of times how big of a dream it was for me to open my own salon or spa someday..
• at 18 years old I dropped out of a fast track program into nursing school because I realized I would never truly be happy until I chased my dreams instead of living comfortably financially because I was too scared to fail at something more risky.. I realized at this age that even your closest family members can be some of your hardest critics.. everyone was so worried that I made the wrong decision and that I wouldn’t be successful..
• at 19 years old I made the choice to start cosmetology school and two months into that start date I found out that I was expecting my first child ; I struggled through the entire year long program juggling a tough class schedule on top of an even more difficult pregnancy — but with determination and perseverance I challenged the board early and I still managed to walk at my graduation with the rest of my class on the same day that I walked out of the the hospital from a traumatic labor and delivery with a little boy who I left behind in the NICU after being born months premature due to preeclampsia..
• in December of 2020, I started my chapter at Hey Jo Salon and Mrs. Jolene quickly became a mentor that I will never forget.. I have made countless friendships and built so many unforgettable relationships during my time behind the chair throughout the last few years all while establishing an amazing group of clientele who I could never repay for helping me get HERE. As I get ready to close the door on this chapter and open the door to the next, I’m also leaving behind a group that I consider to be practically family to me, so as excited I am to see where this chapter leads it is all still so bittersweet at the same time..

all of the clients who sit in my chair get to witness my devotion and passion, but it’s very rare that anyone really understands the amount of dedication that goes into it; prepping bags in the middle of the night, diaper changes at 5 am, loading up babies in jammies all while still being snuggled in blankets, car rides before daylight, 7 am gas station drop-offs, all before juggling an insanely crazy busy day of clients while getting responses back anywhere in between.. sounds like a lot, right?? 🤯

I am in route to start my first group of girls in a bridal party with the lovely CRbeauty in Jacksonville, FL on this beautiful morning — following that you may see me in Gainesville, FL glamming a group of girls for their pageant. ❤️

With recent life changes, I decided that I wanted to change E V E R Y T H I N G.. from creating a new business page, to adding new services to my service menu — I am re-vamping it all.. we are getting ready to enter a whole new era and I am claiming it. (Eeeek) 🥳

Most of you who know me, or know of me, are aware that I recently welcomed my last little baby into the world almost six months ago — since then, my life has been a revolving door of constant changes and obstacles. I have the highest hopes that this brand refresh is exactly what I need to get my focus back where it needs to be. Stay tuned because next week I will be re-introducing myself, my business, and all of my services. 🤎
