Women if anyone, especially a man, chastises you for your self care time, or if he continually disrespects your boundaries of “only friendship” with inappropriate sexual innuendo “I could join you in the shower” “I can relieve you of your extra high energy”
Then he is NOT for you or your highest good!
Read that again
I had this situation occur this week. A man was interested in dating me for the past 2 months. I kept insisting on just friendship, especially the more I got to know him and witnessed some bully type behaviors. Eventually, I triggered his rejection sensitivity and he became a nauseating emotional rollercoaster. I just gave more space and continued to focus on myself. I’m so incredibly grateful for my growth in regards to my rejection sensitivity and people pleasing tendencies! I still feel a little twinge/tickle of my ego. I did want to rush to my defense and engage in debate with him. He threw out so much bait and manipulation attempts. I recognized and acknowledged it and then I let it go!
I politely stood firm in my boundary and eventually he seems to have heard me and be respecting my boundary of friendship. Only took 2 months 😂
Our last interactions of all the bait and manipulation he threw and when I didn’t respond he switched tactics to niceness-the emotional rollercoaster 😬
My last polite stand in my boundary was finally NOT challenged!
