I'd like to get started with a virtual support group but not sure of the best night(s) to have it or if the weekend might be better. Would you prefer a weeknight or the weekend for a virtual support group?

Attending a cancer support group meeting at the North MS Cancer Center in Starkville next week before moving ahead with some virtual support groups over Zoom.

Also, Christmas is around the corner and cancer doesn't take time off. I'd like to do something for the patients, families, and medical staff at North MS facilities. If you have some suggestions or places you'd like to thank, comment below.

We had a small turnout for the Kommitted to Life vision event on Sept 25th, but that turnout was powerful and emotional. Earlier that day I received an email from a social worker at the North MS Cancer Center here in Starkville with an attached document listing the unmet needs they see in the community for current cancer patients, cancer survivors, and cancer caregivers.
One of those is a cancer support group, possibly virtual. If you know of anyone who may be interested in either joining a cancer support group, or leading one, please email me at [email protected].
I'd like to setup a virtual support meeting in a couple of weeks to gauge interest and get an idea of what sort of breakdown we'll need. A group for cancer caregivers, current cancer patients, survivors, different types of cancer, etc. I know the needs vary from person to person, so your feedback is valuable for this.

Tonight's the night. 4-7 The Gathering Starkville. I've received some great feedback from a local cancer center regarding unmet needs locally.
