Science confirms that we delve into binge eating when we are unable to express our emotions and thoughts easily or find it hard to deal with them. The less we are able to express our emotions, the more unhealthy our minds, bodies and hearts become and the more food we crave.
Whether you crave sugary or salty food, these are not always related to weak willpower or lack of self-control. It is your body’s way of if asking for nutrients.
Food cravings can be normal sometimes. But if you find yourself craving the same type of food for a long time, then it can be a warning sign for the lack of nutrition in your diet.
✳️ Here are a few quick ways to deal with food cravings
💦Drink adequate water throughout your day to make sure your body is getting sufficient fluids and staying hydrated.
🍽 Make sure you are using portion control and not going too long without food
🧘‍♀️Ensure you remain stress-free as much as possible as stress often influences eating behaviors and induces cravings.
😴💤Get a good rest and sleep for at least 8 hours every day as it helps to manage your appetite better.
🥗 Practice mindful eating and be intentional about what food you put inside your body.
🍫🍪 If your craving is uncontrollable then have a small piece. Don’t let the cravings get so out of control that you end up binging.
If your craving is a result of uncontrolled emotions, stress or boredom, go for a walk, talk to a friend or invest your time on things you’re passionate about. Do what you need to keep you mind off your cravings.

Maybe she is overwhelmed with kids, family, and bills. Maybe she’s trying her best, but her best isn’t much right now. Maybe anxiety is getting in the way and rearing its ugly head, as it so often does.

Infants, babies, toddlers, and kids ARE NOT little adults!!! They are rapidly developing growing beings and we NEED to get loud about advocating for the safety of their products, because they can’t do it for themselves! 💪🏼

🛑1,4- DIOXANE: I “spoke” of this a few times before and again last week....This known carcinogen is found to be in more than 50% of ALL BABY SOAPS, especially in those called “tear-free”. It’s a contaminant that occurs when a surfactant has been “ethoxylated”, or chemically combined with the compound ethylene oxide. When you see the word ‘laureth’, it means it is ethoxylated.

Tear-free shampoos are ethoxylated. This contaminant can pe*****te the skin each time you use the product on your baby, and it’s been linked to cancer, reproductive issues, kidney & liver damage & liver problems.

I’d much prefer not to subject my little loves to toxins and practice just a bit more careful with washing technique in the bath.
