I think one of my favorite parts of creating herbal skincare is being reminded that some of the most beautiful things we can use were growing from the earth long before we ever thought to put them in a jar. 🌱

My Comfrey Salve was made slowly and intentionally using organic comfrey infused into apricot kernel oil, then blended with beeswax and Vitamin E to create a rich, nourishing salve for dry, rough and hardworking skin.

Comfrey has been valued in traditional herbal preparations for generations, and I love being able to take something so simple from creation and turn it into something useful for our homes and families. 🤍

In September 2021 I lost my infant son, Summit. That month will always carry both deep ache and the quiet presence of God who held us when we could not hold him. This blend was born from that place — a reminder that even in the hardest seasons, His comfort remains.
The aroma story
* Soft lavender brings a peaceful floral calm

* Resinous copaiba and grounding cedarwood add depth

Together they create a cozy, woodsy-sweet scent that feels like being gently held.
The carrier: We chose calendula-infused jojoba oil as the foundation. Jojoba closely mimics the skin’s own sebum, absorbing deeply without greasiness, while the calendula flowers steeped within offer natural soothing and skin-nourishing properties — perfect for the drier days of fall. Not to mention they were grown right here on our farm under my watchful eyes.
Shake gently, warm a few drops between your palms, anoint yourself or a loved one and blend in for that all over body quench. May the fragrance rise like a quiet prayer — for those walking through joy, and for those still walking through loss. He is near to the brokenhearted.

Hello friends I spent the day yesterday making some more quality natural deodorants!!! I’m not lying when I say I’ve tried them all!! This is just remnants over the years that I haven’t chucked yet.
