Soak Up Surface Shine...

When your face starts to look slick, cut the grease without caking on heavy powder. Throw a pack of blotting tissues in your purse (in a pinch, use a toilet-seat cover—it works!). Or try Clarins Shine Stopper Compact, $29. It combines oil-absorbing zinc and pore-clearing salicylic acid. Best of all, it’s completely transparent, so even if you use it throughout the day, you won’t look like you dipped your face in powdered sugar by 4 p.m.

To make antiperspirant more powerful:

Swipe it on at night. It’s absorbed better in the p.m. First blast the area (whether underarms or feet) with a hair dryer on cool to zap excess moisture.

Cover your skin with plastic wrap. This locks the antiperspirant into sweat ducts so it’ll work better the next day.

Reapply in the a.m. Glide on two more layers postshower.

Repeat this routine for one week. “You will see significant improvement in how much you sweat,” says Dr. Lupo.

Are back breakouts troubling you?
It could be an ingredient in your hair conditioner that's causing the problem. Panthenol, well-known for its benefit for strengthening the hair, may be a potential pore-clogger. Use hair products that do not contain Panthenol, exfoliate your back with an exfoliating cloth and a mild cleanser three times a week and apply an anti-bacterial lotion and your back will be clear for summer.

Did you know that most skin aging and damage occurs during the summer?
Consistent application of sun protection, a good home skin care routine and regular professional facials are your best defenses against skin damage during fun in the sun!
You don't need to use SPF 1,000 either, just make sure you put a good SPF 30 on multiple times throughout your day!

The air inside your house can get very dry in the winter. This will play a major part in aggravating your dry skin condition.
To add humidity the dry air in your house, put a little extra water in the kettle when you're boiling water. Leave the kettle on the burner as it cools. It will continue to steam for 10 to 15 minutes, making your life a whole lot more comfortable.

Chilled, already-steeped green tea bags are an easy way to fight puffy circles in the morning. Steep two and let them sit in the fridge for at least 20 minutes. The coolness will feel amazing, and the brew's caffeine will help increase micro-circulation.
