Remember, last October I posted some crochet roses that I made to adorn something??
Okay! It took me almost 6months to post the pictures of the outcome! I added the roses 🌹 along with some crocheted leaves πŸƒ on a white sweater dress for the Christmas party 🎊 at office, wore there along with the pair of earrings I made for myself and my colleagues! Took pictures and forgot to post anywhere!! 😜
Well now there it is!! How did you like it??

In one lifetime, you have to say goodbye to many of your known faces. An inevitable and integral part. initially, it's uncomfortable. Gradually it becomes very much conventional that prepares you for saying more "Goodbyes".

So, make sure to say Thanks before saying goodbyes! Happy Thanksgiving πŸ¦ƒ.

These crochet Chickens were made almost 3years back from now when I used to be excited about everything!😊

Pressed Flowers Fact ...

Often we get flowers as a gift from our dear ones or sometimes from complete strangers... but the flowers started drying out within a week and after a week those loveliest creatures are almost out of beauty and have to trash them no matter how precious those were to u from someone so special...

So here is the thing... one can simply preserve this lively flowers just turning them into pressed flower. and can use them in phone case or making jewelry using resin(a different thing, will discuss some other day) or simply frame them in a photo frame for a wall hanging!

The process is very simple, cut flowers out from their stem before they dry out, put them into a hard paper and cover with paper towel. Pressing some heavyweight, microwave for 30sec. Here is a thing that needs to know, there is a certain flash point for papers, so keep your eye on it. and if flowers get too much heat, they will lose the vibrant color. So the temperature is very important. Because we will give such temperature so that they just lose the wet and dry out without losing color. Make sure to check them in every 30seconds and microwave them until they completely dry out. some flowers dry out early like within 30 or 40 secs some take 90secs.

As nothing lasts forever, these pressed flowers will be as vibrant as they were for up to a decade. I can't guarantee though, got it on google.

I made one wall hanging using these pressed flowers that I made myself at home. I used one 12x18 inch photo frame that was bought from Meijers with $12 and Flower bouquet from Kroger with $5.

Happy Crafting...πŸ™ƒ
