It is true—I am going back to school 📚✅
I wanted to take this time to say how thankful I am for all the love and support I have received from all of those who helped me get here and allowed me to have a great start to my business.
Don’t worry…this is NOT goodbye 🤗 Because I am returning to school, I want to ensure I have all my focus on that matter.

The U.S. doesn’t have just one Independence Day—it has two.
June 19 (a.k.a. Freedom Day or Emancipation Day) is a day of celebration for Black communities.
The Emancipation Proclamation was enacted to abolish slavery, but Texas’s 250,000 enslaved people weren't informed until two and a half years later. On June 19, 1865, the order stating that all enslaved people had been lawfully freed was read in Galveston, TX. This news was met with instant celebration.
Juneteenth is a moment to remember the journey of Black Americans, and it’s one that we must recognize actively.
