Slip and Slide with HH1•5.5 “Kamikaze” better known as “THICKY NIKKI”
We discuss the importance of being careful when cutting certain areas of the hair, such as the cowlick, crown, and front hairline. However, in the interior ‘Mohawk’ section, we can open it up to create a different texture and style. This haircut will significantly change the way the client’s hair feels and styles after shampooing for the first time.

We talk about the importance of continuous learning and growth, emphasizing that the only time you truly lose is when you quit. I encourage the audience to keep moving forward, even if the pace is slow, as stopping is the slowest option. The Beacon program changed my life forever in 2005. I had just started beauty school at Parisian Beauty Academy. They selected 150 students that year from all over the United States. I was the only Barber that got selected. The other 149 attendees were stylists. It was such a turning point for the best in my career. It changed how I look at the beauty industry and the world forever. I am forever grateful for BEACON !

Today is “Grandas Birthday Joe Faloon Ar dheis Dé go raibh m ‘ fhíorathair . He was the best and he passed 7/29/93 and has been watching over us ever since. I’ve actually seen his spirit two different times in my childhood shortly after. I love my Granda so much. He would take me to 3 places I can remember very well. Church, the OTB, and the Barbershop.
