Lip Blush Healing Process: What to Expect! 👄

If you’re considering a lip blush or lipstick look tattoo or just had your session done at Re:Pigment.Me Beauty Studio & Academy, here’s a quick guide on what to expect during the healing process:

1️⃣ Days 1-3: Your lips will look bold and vibrant! The color may appear more intense than you expected — don’t worry, this is totally normal.

2️⃣ Days 4-7: Scabbing and peeling begin. As the scabs naturally shed, the color will look lighter. It’s important not to pick at the peeling skin to avoid uneven healing.

3️⃣ Days 7-14: After the peeling phase, your lips may appear much lighter, and in some cases, the color can seem like it’s almost gone. This is part of the process — the pigment is still settling beneath the surface.

4️⃣ Weeks 4-6: The true, healed color emerges! By this point, your lips will show a soft, natural tint, about 40-50% lighter than what you saw right after your session.
