12p massage available tomorrow!
Out of office til the 18th. Will not be responding to any messages til then.
When I come back I plan on implementing a schedule for easier booking and I will also be placing cancellation fees and keeping cards on file. The amount of reschedules, cancellations, and no call no shows I have been experiencing is starting to affect my livelihood and love for this practice.
I understand life happens and am very forgiving but lately this has been getting to a point where it’s almost daily someone has to reschedule or cancel a day ahead of time, and as someone who works for myself, doesn’t get paid unless you show up, I need to provide for my son. Just asking for people to respect my time. And respect the fact that I have a son to provide for.
I’m still working out what exactly I want and need to do, just know that changes are coming. I am so grateful to love what I do and so grateful for all of my people. I’m just ready to start placing better business boundary practices because again, it’s getting a little out of hand.
Thanks all. Talk more soon.

You can’t pour from an empty cup.
If you’re constantly giving—to your family, your job, your friends, your community—eventually your body starts asking for something in return.
Massage isn’t just about easing tight muscles. It’s about giving your nervous system permission to slow down, helping your body shift into a state where it can rest, recover, and heal. Over time, building a relationship with a massage therapist you trust makes it easier to fully let go, allowing your body to receive the benefits of safe, therapeutic touch.
When your cup is full, you have more energy to chase your goals, support the people you love, and show up as your best self.
Massage is healthcare. Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s what allows you to keep doing what matters most.

Tried out the new wellness spot in Sterling — ✨
I went in for dry needling after dealing with some pretty stubborn shoulder pain the last couple weeks, andthe relief afterward was amazing. The actual needles can definitely feel intense for a moment, but my shoulder mobility and tension improved almost immediately.
One thing I do want to mention though: I experienced a little “needle shock” during treatment. Some people can feel lightheaded, shaky, sweaty, nauseous, or just a little off after dry needling — especially if your nervous system is already stressed, sensitive, dehydrated, anxious, or in pain. My chiropractor helped me through it, and I felt much better shortly after.
That being said, I still wanted to share this experience because I know a lot of people struggle with chronic tightness and pain and may be curious about trying different modalities.
Velvaere has such a calming atmosphere already, and they offer things like contrast therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, and more. I love seeing spaces like this opening up locally (instead of slot machines, bars, and pizza places😜) because healing spaces like this are ESSENTIAL and recovery really can look different for everyone 🤍
Dry needling works by targeting trigger points and tight muscle tissue to help reduce pain, improve mobility, increase blood flow, and calm overactive muscles. It’s not always the most comfortable sensation while it’s happening, but for me, the results were worth it.
Always listen to your body, hydrate well afterward, and communicate with your practitioner during treatment ✨
