Participating in a yoga class can help stretch your muscles and improve flexibility! Yoga also helps with stress and anxiety management! This past Saturday, we had the amazing opportunity to collect items to help stuff “sunshine boxes” for the Sweet Julia Grace Foundation. These boxes will be taken to children who are hospitalized and will be given to them on a rainy day to cheer them up!! Nurturing Touch and Wellness was lucky enough to be able to fund all of the small trinkets and toys that were put in these boxes, while Hailey and her friends helped pack them!! Happy Wednesday! This Wednesdays focus is to add more fruits and vegetables to your diet!! It is so important to include a side of fruits and veggies in your meals! They have so many healthy nutrients that are essential for your body! If you’re hungry for a small snack, go grab an apple or some carrots!!
It’s International Self-Care Day! It is SO important to always prioritize your physical, emotional, and mental health! International Self-Care Day is dedicated to remind everyone how important it is to take care of yourself! Some ways you can prioritize self care are packing nutritious meals, taking breaks outside, staying hydrated, listening to music, making goals for yourself, and getting up and moving around! There are plenty of other ways to prioritize self-care, these are just a few options. Happy International Self-Care Day!! 💗💗 Go out and do something that prioritizes self-care today!!!
