This clip is from my #podcast #TangTalk with my friend and special guest @christiemcfit ❤️Some people may dismiss representation and not understand the importance of it for people like me who grew up with limited exposure to seeing our own potential and to be proud of the limitless opportunities and capabilities we are able to achieve that was told to us at a young age that it was impossible to obtain due to our lack of desirability. ❤️People will use words like #woke in a negative way to diminish the value and impact that being proud of our culture and desirability can truly make a difference for our community and for anyone who ever experienced being outcasted. ❤️I never let anyone stop me from believing in myself and filling that void that was missing for me and anyone that looks like me. ❤️Understand that we are capable of having more than one passion. That our job title doesn’t define our identity. It’s our passion that gives us purpose and it’s what drives us to be more than how people perceive us online.❤️I am proud of my hard work and dedication to my craft and always staying authentic to who I am. I understand that some people don’t understand why I do more than one thing. Know that you don’t have to limit yourself and shrink who you are to make others be comfortable with something they don’t understand.#GuyTang #Music #Asian #representation
