My birthday is in two weeks, and I’ll officially be entering my last year in my 30s. So much has happened in this past decade, I swear I’ve lived about six different lives.

So this year, I wanted to celebrate my birthday a little differently. I designed a shirt inspired by what I consider the BEST decades—the 80s & 90s. Alongside 57 Gems, we created a design for ShoreLine Tans that brings us right back to that totally awesome time.

But this shirt means a little more than that.

I’ll be donating ALL proceeds from every shirt sold to EBeauty, a nonprofit in our community that provides wigs to women undergoing cancer treatment.

This one hits especially close to home for me. My mom was actually planning to go to EBeauty before her last stay in the hospital. It was supposed to be what we did the last time we hung out, but she was too tired to go.

So for my birthday this year, instead of just celebrating another trip around the sun, I want to do something meaningful in her memory—and hopefully help another woman feel a little more like herself during one of the hardest times of her life.

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate 39. 🤍
