Hi everyone! My name is Alexis (Lexy), I’m the owner of The Luxury Wax Studio. I’ve been a licensed esthetician coming up on 3 years now! 😊 I specialize in full body waxing, vajacials, brow lamination, and other fun add on services such as vajazzles & temporary tattoo! I also retail my very own oils and aftercare kits!

I take pride in making sure that all clients coming in get top notch services, that I take time and attention towards the services instead of making it feel like a rushed and abrupt situation. It’s NEVER all about the money, it’s about the EXPERIENCE over here!

If you’re to be new to waxing please consider my business as I provide an awesome first time client treatment which includes an aftercare kit for you to take home! Even if you’ve been waxed before and are just looking for a new waxer, I’m always here and am fully accepting to all! There’s never a need to feel embarrassed, shy, scared, etc. because my goal is to make sure everyone is comfortable from the minute you message me to the minute you walk out the door!

I offer full body waxing 🫶🏼🍯

There are many factors as to what may be causing your ingrowns! First I like to rule out the obvious:

How was your aftercare like for the first 24 hours after your wax? (No s*x, exercising, sauna, pool, tanning, etc.)

Were/are you using any skin clogging products such as a lotion or body wash you may be using? (Dove is a HUGE NO NO and is one of MANY brands that is super clogging to the skin. YES, even the “sensitive skin” line. )

Is there a lack of at home aftercare? (Are you exfoliating enough and moisturizing daily?)

Are you wearing lacey or unbreathable fabric underwear? (Cotton is best to allow the skin to breathe!)

It could even be the laundry detergent you are using, if it’s too fragranced!

Like I said, there could be many factors! 🤓📖 HOWEVER, if you’re following everything religiously and are still struggling with ingrowns, a MONTHLY vajacial can definitely be the answer for you!! 🫵🏼
