Hey salons are not the problem you want to know why? We have to go to school for 1600 hours to get our licenses in CA, and the first thing we learn is SANITATION! If you don’t sanitize properly during the state board exam, you DON’T pass. PERIOD. So please tell us why salons are the problem, and not the big box stores like Walmart, Home Depot, and Target. Do their employees have licenses that require them to learn proper sanitation? I don’t think so. You are killing our industry and the dreams of many small business owners. We have 10 stylists in our small salon, between 6 of those stylists we saw 562 people in the short time we were allowed to reopen. How many COVID cases...0! So please tell us again why we are closed and how salons are the problem?

🚨Red box dye🚨 The client put temporary hair color that is only supposed to last a month but obviously never came out. Red is the hardest most stubborn color to put in your hair and even after I used lightener it was a bright orange. Going blonde is a process and it takes multiple sessions.. we where able to get her to a medium brown soft balayage. Loved the outcome. Swipe ⬅️⬅️ for the before lightener and after lightener picture to see how much red box dye penetrates ur hair even when u can’t see it.

If you’re watching the news, San Joaquin County was given the okay to move farther in to Stage 2! While this doesn’t mean anything for us just yet it does mean we might be closer to being able to get back into the salon! We’re hoping and praying that it will be within the next few weeks! In the meantime things will have to change a bit and we’re still working on ways to make the salon as safe as possible considering we can’t be 6ft apart from our clients. This will most likely include everyone wearing masks at all times, hand washing before services, waiting in your car until we’re ready for you, and not allowing any visitors in the salon. We look forward to stage 3 and getting back to work to see all your beautiful faces!
