|| I was driving yesterday & this Stevie Wonder song, "Someday at Christmas" came on the radio. I immediately broke down in tears as I listened to the lyrics. This beautiful, yet powerful song reflects the crisis Cambodia is currently experiencing now this December, with hopes of a peaceful future 🥹

We are tired. Cambodia is tired. We just want peace. We just want to heal. We just want to breathe. When will they stop? When will others hear our cries? What will it take for people to listen? Why is nobody listening? It all falls on deaf ears....

|| This year's New Year Angel is, Mohothareak Tevy, the 'Saturday' angel, and the 7th daughter of the King of God's, Kbal Moha Prum. Her favorite food is venison. If you don't have deer meat, you can put out dried beef for her. She descends to Earth on a Mayura/Peacock, while holding a chakra ring & a trident. She wears water hyacinth behind her ears and is bejeweled with Sapphires. Khmer New Year is from Saturday, April 13 through Tuesday, April 16 this year!

|| Khmer Krom pageant, model & university student, Thach Thu Thao, walked the runway for Khmer Krom designer, Danh Tính, recently for Vietnam's Asian Kids Fashion Week. In 2022, she won the title as Miss Earth Vietnam and placed 2nd runner-up for Miss Ethnic Vietnam. Thach Thu Thao was born & raised along the Mekong delta of Vietnam in a town called, Trà Vinh. The Mekong delta and Southern Vietnam region is indigenous to Khmers and a dense population of Khmer people still live & inhabit the area today.

|| I genuinely loved being pregnant despite all the crazy symptoms I had, swollen feet & zero energy 😩 but I enjoyed dressing up my new body bc it made me happy & feel good inside, especially when I felt very ugly & huge. However, I am proof that you can be a midsize, curvy girly & still look cute pregnant, despite what social media tells you! 🙌🏽 I learned to embrace all the changes my body went through & continue to do so in this lifetime. Giving birth is enough for a celebration ✨Us women are so powerful, strong & fearless, remember that! 💖
