Beautiful 12in transformation to small Microlocks, established this weekend using the interlocking method.

Finally locked my 8th grader’s hair after debating for over a year.
Join me welcoming her into the Sisterlocks® family!
She was super excited and happy. “Why did you wait so long?” She asked!

I thought she might change her mind and want to wear different styles as she transitions into High school. But she kept bugging me. Hair day would take 2-4 days as she hated having her hair combed.
For parents struggling to maintain their kid’s natural hair - think about locking your kid’s hair. There are many different methods. Please do your research.
My daughter has Sisterlocks® but you can lock their hair using traditional locks, two strand twists, braid locks or comb twists.

Q- how can I maintain my grid and the look of uniform locks?
Me- Consistent braiding and banding until fully locked. Your consultant will let you know when you no longer need to braid and band.

Stay on your 4-6 week rotation. Or if something happens talk to your consultant on how you maintain your locks until you can get in. It is that simple.

- Locks needs moisture when you open those cuticles to color so as not to dry out the locks.
- Regularly moisturize your hair at least weekly with the Sisterlocks® Moisture treatment.
- A conditioning treatment such as this reconstructor done monthly. Will also help.
- Speak to your colorist and consultant if you start experiencing breakage and dryness.
