Prim and Proper

I just completed my application for the High Five Grant™ for Moms with The Mama Ladder® and U.S. Bank , and it gave me the opportunity to really reflect on the many “whys” behind Prim and Proper.

While there are so many reasons I’m passionate about what we’ve built, my biggest “why” has always been my children.

I never wanted success to come at the cost of missing the moments that matter most. Owning and operating my own business has allowed me the ability to be present for the milestones, birthdays, holidays, school events, and all of the everyday memories that I’ll never get back.

Prim and Proper was built to provide for our family while still allowing me to be the mom I want to be. It has given us the opportunity to build something meaningful, serve our community, and create a future for our children while being there for them along the way.

This business is so much more than a place where we provide barbering and beauty services. It’s a dream built around family, connection, and creating a life we love with the people we love most.

That will always be my biggest “why.” 🤍

Future you called… they said BOOK THE APPOINTMENT. 😂

The holidays will be here before we know it, and appointments during this time of year have a way of disappearing real quick.

We probably won’t magically find you an appointment the week before Christmas. 😅

So if you already know you’ll want your hair done for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s… now is the time to get on the books.

Plan ahead. Book early. Save yourself the holiday appointment panic.😂

Twenty-five years later, September 11, 2001 remains forever in our hearts.

Today, we remember the lives that were lost, the families who were forever changed, and the brave men and women who ran toward danger to help others.

We pray for the families who still feel the loss.
We pray for the heroes who answered the call.
And we pray for our country, that we will choose kindness, compassion, courage, and unity.

Some wounds may never completely heal, and some memories never fade. But we will honor those we lost by remembering, by loving one another, and by lifting our nation in prayer.

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We pray. We will never forget. God Bless America. 🇺🇸
