A week has passed … Last Sunday morning, January 28, 2024 my world stopped. Jordan went to wake up our 3 year old son, Weston for breakfast & instead found our baby blue & pale and non-responsive & the next hour is a blur and nightmare of CPR, compressions, 911, police questions, frantic phone calls to Nana & Papa - all while my other children & those close to us in our household that morning looked on and went through the trauma with us. With no idea what is happening now or next.

Weston Reed Stolte was pronounced dead at 10:38am. They told us this in a consultation room awhile later at Childrens Hospital & it feels like it hasn’t ticked another minute since. But time keeps going. 🕰️ 💔

They said his daddy and I couldn’t touch anything but his hand as we said goodbye. Protocol. But they all turned their backs as I moved his curls and kissed his forehead .. I walked out of that room and into the arms of my large support net. I feel like I’m inside a nightmare.

They caught me, you caught me. But I’m still falling. So are a lot of those close to Weston. Please don’t let go cause we need it.. more than ever.

We’ve had food dropped off, we’ve had cards, cash, and condolences dropped by. We’ve had hugs, we’ve shared tears, we’ve prayed together. Your comments and messages of love are appreciated. Thank you all so much !!! 🫶🏽

The Celebration of Life is being coordinated & that information will be shared as soon as it’s finalized. 🩵
