Our team joined Joico for a hands on bob cutting class, adding new techniques and fresh inspiration! ☁️✂️✨

August is our birthday month and this year is a milestone! T W E N T Y F I V E Y E A R S! 🎂🎉

We opened in August 2001 with a young team, construction costs way over budget, and critics who said we’d never make it as “just a color and haircut salon.” We didn’t offer nail services. We didn’t offer skin care. We were simply focused on doing hair really, really well.

In an industry where 50% or more of licensed cosmetologists leave within their first 2 years, and more than half of salons don’t make it past 5 years, we feel immense gratitude reaching this milestone. We couldn’t let this moment pass without celebrating our loyal stylists who have been with us for 10+ years: Devon, Tammy, Jackie, Molly, Paula, Lauren, and Hannah. Taylor has been with us for 6 years, and Danika for 3! Jules and Peyton are hard at work in cosmetology school, and our newest licensed stylist, Amelia, will be opening her books for appointments in a few months!

Thank you to our community for choosing Sky Salon, sending your friends our way, and letting us be part of your lives. Twenty-five years wouldn’t be possible without everyone who has sat in our chairs, trusted us with their hair, and shared their lives with us. We are incredibly grateful.❤️
