Hi! I’m Jess, owner and stylist of Skull Dreams Salon by Jess LLC in Strongsville, Ohio.

One of the things I’m most passionate about is making the salon a place where everyone feels welcome and accepted. I created my sensory-friendly haircut program because I know that a haircut can be overwhelming for some children. The sounds, smells, lights, touch, clippers, and simply sitting still can make a typical salon experience extremely difficult.

My sensory-friendly appointments are designed around the child. I allow extra time, offer breaks, use gentle communication, provide sensory tools and fidgets, and adjust the haircut experience based on each child's individual needs.

But I don't want finances to be the reason a child misses out on having a positive haircut experience.
That's why I'm creating the Skull Dreams Sensory Haircut Fund.

With the help of our community, I want to be able to offer free sensory-friendly haircuts to children whose families need financial assistance.
