Today marks 6 years of Headliner Barbershop!

To think I started this business in the middle of a pandemic in 2020 with so much uncertainty and was able to thrive the way we did in the small town of Stanhope was so incredible. It’s because of all you and the love, loyalty and support. I wouldn’t be here today and I am forever grateful. These last six years have come with plenty of ups and downs, challenges, lessons, laughs, and stories I’ll never forget and friendships and bonds that’ll never be broken!
Making the move to Roxbury was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. What’s even more special is that Roxbury is where it all started for me. Before Headliner Barbershop was ever a reality, this was my home turf. To be back in my old stomping grounds, building the next chapter of this business, feels like things have come full circle and to be surrounded by such amazing people is the even bigger bonus.

To every single person who has sat in my chair.. thank you 🙏🏼 I appreciate every conversation, every laugh, every life update, and yes, every therapy session too. Being able to do what I love every day and call it a career is something I’ll never take for granted.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for an amazing 6 years. Here’s to the next chapter! 💈✂️

Today I had to pleasure of working at the St.Baldricks event at Lincoln Roosevelt Elementary School in Roxbury where I attended as a kid.

St.Baldricks is a charity event where volunteers shave their heads in solidarity with kids who have cancer and raise money to fund childhood cancer research.

It was such an honor to be a part of such an amazing cause and it was even better being able to share with my former boss and other former colleagues that cut in the area.

Special shout out to all the kids that volunteered, raised money and got their heads shaved! It was a very powerful event and I can’t wait to attend in the years to come!
